Vancouver, BC –  Yare Media Group Inc. today announced that the company has received Eligible Business Corporation (EBC) status under section 28 of the Small Business Venture Capital Act.

The EBC status is an investment option to promote capital investments in early stage companies and was established under the Equity Capital Program by the Ministry of International Trade in the Province of British Columbia, Canada. The program provides tax incentives to investors who wish to invest in the growth of innovative businesses in B.C.  British Columbia Investors are entitled to a 30 percent refundable tax credit on the value of their investment.

Founded in early 2016 by senior technology and media executives, Yare is a privately held company based in Vancouver, Canada specializing in the development of effective, low-cost and quick to market internet video delivery solutions designed to service niche content providers.  The Company was founded in 2016 by senior sports and media executives. Yare Media has built a strong business foundation combining over 20 years experience in the streaming media marketplace with sports and media distribution strategy expertise.

Management believes that Yare Media has identified unique, underserved market segments requiring high quality live video content to be delivered over the internet.  The Company is embarking on an aggressive growth strategy which includes broadening the executive team, assembling a board of directors, increasing sales staff, product enhancements, expanding advertising and marketing initiatives, and widening its focus to address international markets. The Company is also assessing tuck-in acquisition opportunities to accelerate growth as well as strategies to attract potential acquirers. To implement these strategies, Yare Media is presently raising funds by way of a private placement of common shares.
